Neil Sutaria M.D.

Dr. Neil Sutaria was born in Plainfield, NJ but has called Houston home since the age of 10. He attended the University of Houston, obtaining a B.S. in Biochemistry and graduating Summa Cum Laude. He attended medical school at St. George’s University through which, he completed training in the United Kingdom, West Indies, and New York City. He went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at Stony Brook University at Mather Hospital in Long Island, NY. Returning home to Houston, he completed his fellowship training in Nephrology and Hypertension at the world-renowned Houston Methodist Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College where he received the inaugural Community Scholar Award for his commitment to outstanding patient care. Dr. Sutaria is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Houston Renal Group, operating since 2019.

During his spare time, Dr. Sutaria loves playing basketball, testing out the latest technology, and spending quality time with his wife, Shikha.
